Great success for OMP novelties in Birmingham

Great satisfaction for OMP after the Autosport International Engineering show, which ended yesterday. The Italian company, based near Genova, showcased the most important novelties from its 2019 catalogue in a stand expecially designed by StandArt.

Among the new products, all meeting the interest of the thousands of visitors, was the new edition of the One Art racing suit, the first suit ever to get the new FIA 8856-2018 homologation: fire retardancy  increased but without losing comfort and lightness. The One Art was displayed along the whole “Art” range: gloves, boots and seats, all completely printed and customizable.

Another novelty in racewear is the First “Elle” suit, an entry level suit designed in a special shape to perfectly fit female drivers and co-drivers. Also, the re-designed KS-3 karting suit was displayed for the first time.

Switching from drivers’ gear to racecar gear, OMP presented the completely new series of ultra-light seats, the Carbon Lite Series. It’s the lightest FIA 8862 seats range in the world, covering every possible need on every possible car: rally cars, GT cars and GT3 cars with the now compulsory roll cage attachment. Also, a new line of extinguishers was presented. The CESAL 4 and CESAL 5 concentrate the newest concepts in fire extinguishing systems, and they are designed for use with 3M Novec 1230 fire protection fluid.

OMP was also proud to host an exhibition of the Racing Spirit line: it’s a leisurewear line inspired by OMP’s passion for cars, engines and racing. The collection strives to stimulate those who love the sport and looking for a leisure apparel line that represents our lifestyle. Originality, beauty and functionality are converted into a stylish narrative.
