In top form, both technically and visually: Volkswagen presented the second generation of the Polo R WRC in Autostadt, Wolfsburg. The works team from Wolfsburg has its sights set firmly on another successful defence of its titles in the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) with a new car and a new look.
The most striking change to the Polo R WRC for the 2015 season is its exterior. The white has given way to dark-blue. White and light-blue stripes see the dark-blue front merge into the white rear.
New look also for our champions’ suits, that got inspiration from the livery of the new Polo WRC. The new suits are based on the new ONE EVO suit, which is even lighter and more comfortable, made of state of the art fabrics able to facilitate the maximum transpiration as well as an excellent wearability.
Characteristics of the new look are the two gold stars embroidered on the shoulders, representing the two world championship that were won…and there is enough space for a new star!
New design also for the boots and gloves based on our ONE-S, with more and more innovative characteristics, reviewed and improved for the 2015 season thanks to the advice of our champions!
The WRC championship is going to get under way the next weekend with the Montecarlo Rally and let’s hope to encore the great victory of Sebastien of last year!!!
