Three cars in the first six positions. This is the impressive result of Toyota Gazoo WRC at Rally Sardegna 2017.
The Japanese team, leaded by Tommy Makinen and made up of all-Finnish drivers and co-drivers, in Italy had its best result of the season, with only the victory missing.
The three Yaris occupied the first three even positions, so P2 went to Latvala, P4 to an amazing Lappi and P6 to Haninen. Pure class driving, and a very massive teamwork for a group at its WRC debut.
Toyota Gazoo WRC was the first team to put a brand new OMP One Art suit at the top of a world class race, last February at Rally Sweden with Jari-Matti Latvala.
