With many apologies for the “delay”, after Séb Ogier’s world title Volkswagen Motorsport also collects the victory in World Rally Championship for manufacturers. This way, the German team completes in Wales the puzzle of their domination: fourth title in a row, and the name of Volkswagen as a common denominator for an entire era of WRC history.
The title comes from the points collected by the crews of Ogier and his co-driver Julien Ingrassia and Jari-Matti Latvala and co-driver Mika Anttila, that have occupied all the steps of the podium along all season along with the third VW crew: Andreas Mikkelsen/Anders Jaeger, a real luxury for the championship.
