Lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant and Cape buffalo: these are the "big 5", the most majestic South African animals, a real national emblem for that country, that OMP adopted to celebrate the first African WRX round ever.
The common effort by OMP, South African retailer ATS Motorsport Supplies and Volkswagen Sweden team resulted in a special edition suit: a One-Art completely dedicated to the big 5. The suit was used by Petter Solberg and fresh world champion (as well as race winner in the end) Johan Kristofferson.
As anybody can see, the design is absolutely innovative, through the technology that allows racing suits to be completely printed. It's surely a big step ahead for racing suits design.
