The AF Corse Ferrari #71, driven By Davide Rigon and Sam Bird, won the 6 Hours of Spa in the GTE Pro category gaining its second success in a row in the Fia World Endurance Championship (WEC). The 488 #71 fought for the first place from the very beginning with the AF Corse Ferrari 488 #51 of Gianmaria Bruni and James Calado. With only ten minutes remaining in the race, a technical issue hit the 51 car – when it was first in GTE Pro - obliging to retire in the garage.
In the GT drivers championship standing, Rigon and Bird are first with 52 points, the best possible score until now.
