Following several thorough test sessions at the circuits of Aragon, Barcelona, Le Castellet and Valencia with the brand new Honda Civic WTCC, Honda R&D and J.A.S. Motorsport are ready for the start of the FIA WTCC 2014.
The new Honda Civic WTCC, is equipped with special seat developed on the new HRC –R, safety belts DA0028 HSL made in Dyneema® developed specifically for WTCC cars and with CESAL 3 the extinguisher system with new ultralight aluminium bottle with reduced dimensions and weight.
The two confirmed and successful drivers Gabriele Tarquini & Tiago Monteiro dressed the ultralight suit ONE-S combined with the underwear ONE for optimized the confort and performance, the professional HI-TECH SHOES ONE-EVO made of top grain leather with modern and aggressive design and the ONE S gloves developed directly from OMP’s Top drivers experience.
The FIA World Touring Car Championship 2014 starts on April 13th on the street circuit of Marrakech. The season ends on November 16th, with another street race in Macau. In total, the season boasts twelve events on five continents, with a total of 24 races.
